Location:Alcúdia is a municipality on the spanish balearic island Mallorca. The small town with the same name is the administrative seat of the municipality in the region of Raiguer. The name Alcúdia comes from the Arabic and means "the hill", indicating the location of the historic center, located on the mountain saddle between the bay of Pollença and the bay of Alcúdia, which are separated by a flat mountain range.
